How to create DNS and AMP lists? - iLikePonys - Sep 1, 2013

Hi,

I have a question to all of you. I'd like to go deeper into the creating of lists on servers.

I currently own a Linux server (CentOS 6.4), spoofing enabled.

I have the program DNS2SCAN, which I don't know how to use.. If anybody would be willing to explain that'd be amazing.

Also, do I need to put the DNS2SCAN in a map? If so, which? (I'm using FileZilla).

Kind regards,
iLP.

Set permissions to the file (chmod), and then do the command ./DNS2SCAN and just follow the guide line (get a good ip range)

I don't know what dns2scan is but it most likely won't work for what you're trying to do.

True. So how do I get the right IP range?

I've tried following a TuT but it didn't work quite well.

try this

first u upload to your linux server.
Then do chmod 777 dns2scan.
Then just enter command for example
./dns2scan 60 70 out.txt 50 1

Yeah I figured everything out a while ago. Going deeper into the system now.

Thanks for the reply, I'll leave this open for everyone who still wonders how to do it.

To get the best results, use the following arguments:

PHP Code

<?php
./dns2scan 0 255 out.txt 60 1

The only problem is the scan can take up to a day to finish, but it's definitely worth it.

Yeah, just run it all in screen and you wont notice it.

DNS is short for (D)omain (N)ame (S)ystem which utilizes the DNS protocol to translate human-friendly domains (like www.google.com, etc.) into IP addresses.

You can take an in-depth look at the DNS protocol here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_Name_System

You can also purchase CyphScan on the market which is the same program, but has an extra feature that allows you to specify a domain in the query to filter byte replies, ultimately generating stronger lists.
