XerXes DoS Tutorial - Vaxorr - Sep 11, 2013
Warning!!! : This Tutorial Is In Linux Enviroment Not Windows .
For Those Who Dont Know XerXes is one of the most powerful private DoS Tool . this tool was created by the Jester To Hit Down WikiLeaks Site.
Today i will be showing the steps for how to use xerxes DoS script.
- Create A New F|older and name it "xerxes"
- create a file inside the folder and name it "xerxes.c"
- paste this source into the file "xerxes.c" : http://pastebin.com/9HUsBWCu
- navigate to the folder for example : cd /xerxes
- compile it with gcc compiler by typing "gcc -o xerxes xerxes.c"
- now type xerxes.c <the target site> <the port> and press enter

Very good quality thread, but even if it ise one of the most powerful DoS programs, it will not bring any good server down :D
It does work good on invision powerboards.

Nice tutorial but I suggest you give some more details on how it works and what layer it is, etc. Cause personally I never heard of it.

I'll look into this source, was this an official release?
For those whom asking this tool, if same as the XerXes the Jester, it was a layer 7 attack. The details of the attack I'm unsure. Hopeful I'll get a look at the code soon and take a look at what it dose

I do not code in C, but a look at the source indicates that it initiates a bunch of socket connections to crash the attacked host.

Setting a counter of 0, and whilst its less than the specified number of connections supplied by the user implement it each time, draining the bandwidth.

First thing is this is not XerXes that is used by Th3 J35t3r. This is a slowloris dos source coded in C. So you need to fix that also second this has been public for around 2 years.

that seems to be using sockets for damaging the site band width as @VipVince said also i am not sure if this is the original XerXes Source but this is a Text Version of that video
