I need to put a CSS tabbed menu onto my website, I have no idea why it's not working, as I followed some websites instructions :(( The website says: Upload the menu_source folder to the root directory of your website. This is usually where your index.html or index.php file is. Then Code <link href="/menu_assets/styles.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css>Then Code <div id='cssmenu'>Into the body.. I have no idea why it's not working. Q.Q (Sep 18, 2013 01:05 AM)panton123 Wrote: I might be able to help, adding you on skype. Thanks for the attempt, you were really nice :) * - stevenrfc - Sep 18, 2013 It's hard to tell because you haven't posted your css, there could be more but as far as I can see theres a few things wrong with your stylesheet link. But try removing the first '/' from your stylesheet path and adding in your ending " for type. Like this Code <link href="menu_assets/styles.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />* - g0han - Sep 18, 2013 (Sep 18, 2013 08:33 AM)stevenrfc Wrote: try removing the first '/' from your stylesheet path and adding in your ending " for type. Like this This. Also if this file is in a folder thats not your root folder (/), then the link to get out of the folder and back to root is ../ so the code might need to be, if the files are in two different folders. Code <link href="../menu_assets/styles.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />Also make sure the stylesheet is called styles.css, as this is normally just called style but your code calls for something called styles * - Natalia Poklonskaya - Sep 20, 2013 Thanks for the help guys, I finally figured it out, all by myself! the refference in my heading of the HTML was refeering to /menu_assests, while it was ment to be /menu_source XDDDD * - Blackjack - Sep 20, 2013 (Sep 20, 2013 03:15 AM)meff0 Wrote: Thanks for the help guys, I finally figured it out, all by myself! I look forward to solving one of them problems, XDXD |
