You can even make your file extension visible under folder option.Anyway thanks for sharing the method!

Yes, this is because you simply need to rename the file after it has been transferred over to a second source. Thus, the system will recognize it as the file extensions you alter it to, so .DOCX files are primarily opened with Microsoft Word. Understand?

Also, you can edit the registry and alter a few ones and zero values to make it show the file extension 😝

Another time, it is pretty simple if you Google it. I guarantee it.

I am busy extracting a license key from my school laptop, I want to use it on my own.

hmmm but wouldnt the man have to rename it again to turn it into an exe again?

That is precisely the point of this leak, is so they rename the file themselves back to the previous extension. Remember, we are not trying to infect anybody, but simply bypass the file attachment filter.

Isn't there any method to change extention send by mail and execute the file without renaming it again to .exe?

There is a way to spoof it, but the file will:

  1. Not run properly, as it is trying to be opened by the renamed file extension's default program.
  2. Not in its own correct file extension.
  3. Look like something the lines of: armageddon.exe.pdf
  4. Therefore, that is pointless. The whole purpose is to send the file to another user, not to infect them - unless you explain to them how to reverse the process then run the file 🤫 😝

Oke, thank you for explaining this method.
But I'm in search for rather something else ;-).
So I don't have to explain how to reverse the process :)
btw, thank you for this tut.
