All you have to do is click the "Hack Forums" button at the top. That simple, it's because directly connecting to the DNS is glitchy, but even refreshing the page will fix it, you don't have to do any DNS changing or anything :)

Because "CTRL F5" is only for Windows, because there's no CTRL button on the Mac, also because CTRL + F5 doesn't always work.

The layout thing was happening to me and I just clicked my username link at the top and it fixed it.

You know...that doesn't actually work. It might have worked for you but not for everyone.
For example, myself. I've clicked just about every link mentioned here and in other thread, cleared
cache, switched browsers, flushed dns, etc etc. Still broken for me with absolutely no CSS or images.

Only thing that's worked for me consistently is using the nsfw. version of the site. Why I don't know, perhaps it has something to do with what was previously cached in my browser. Maybe give that a try if you haven't yet. Otherwise it seems like it's just luck if some things work and some don't.

If I keep http://hackforums.net in a separate tab then the site loads fine for me. The Ctrl + F5 thing makes it bad again.
