Start JAR from resource with handler - hansbald - Sep 28, 2013 Hello HF, A quick question: Is it possible to store a JAR file in the resources. Then invoke a function in this JAR file with parameter, and then return the strings the JAR-Function returns. Like: VB.net send Input to JAR - JAR gives output vb.net Don't want some C&P code I want some words/calls whatever to research or examples to learn from :) Thanks to all~ Dustin * - TheBarret - Sep 28, 2013 Well partially yes thats possible, you can see here how you can wrap arround a process https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3738215 That was a minecraft server JAR file that runs inside (or wrapped) the main application as forked process. * - hansbald - Sep 28, 2013 Thanks for the input I will look through the code :) Ok, I now know how to create and interact with it as a process. But can I do this in a RunPE? * - hansbald - Sep 30, 2013 Push any more suggestions? I understood the wrapper code but can't use it in a RunPE... * - TheBarret - Sep 30, 2013 Hmm... you where not specific in the first post now you start flapping about runpe, i dont see how that is gonna work on a jar files. java apps are compiled bytecode that run on jvm (Java virtual machine). So my awnser is no. |
