[Updated] Fake FanSigns - Printable Version

[Updated] Fake FanSigns - Sweetie - Sep 29, 2013

I made a thread about this a while ago. But that is outdated and it looked extremely fake. So here is my updated way to make a fake fansign. If you have any questions feel free to reply here or send me a PM. Let's begin.

Step 1

Remove the text that is currently on the fansign. I like to use the "Spot Healing Brush Tool".

Step 2

Select the brush tool and change the size to about 1-5 pixels, depending on how you want your fansign to look. I selected size 3. You can change your foreground color to what colored text you want on your fansign.

Step 3

Make a new layer and select the pen tool. The new layer will be the layer that you will write your text on. So make sure that you have it selected.

Step 4

Use the pen tool to create your text. When you make your first path, you right-click and click "Stroke Path". This will make your first line. After that you right click again and click "Delete Path".
You want to repeat until you created your text.

Step 5

After you created your text...(Make sure you take your time and make it neat and girly..) I tried to do it quickly for tutorial.

Step 6

Select the text layer and click Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur And make it a little blurry.

Step 7

Make sure to have the layer selected and change it to "Linear Burn". Play around with the opacity and fill until it looks legit.

Make sure you take your time to make it look legit. This finished product is not my best work, I tried to do it quickly for this tutorial.

Looks nice. When you are creating your text, make sure you hold ALT+CLICK on the square when this shows up... This will help your circles and curves to be more curvy... ^.^

That's a pretty nice way of doing it, I usually just write with my tablet, never thought about the pen tool haha.

thanks for this post! guys check out xhamster for users holding up signs with their name on it as well.
great, fantastic, marvelous TUT this is what I'll be working on tonight! I didn't know what to do with the very exploitable pictures that were beginning to pile up.
