Blocking Outgoing Connections - Cap - Oct 8, 2013 With Adobe Photoshop CS6, why do you need to block outgoing connections/turn off internet before you run the application? * - g0han - Oct 8, 2013 So it can't contact its activation server I guess * - TheGrayAviator - Oct 8, 2013 (Oct 8, 2013 10:22 PM)AssWh00ping101 Wrote: With Adobe Photoshop CS6, why do you need to block outgoing connections/turn off internet before you run the application? I never heard of that one before, but I'd assume to prevent it from contacting it's servers. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get that from? * - Cap - Oct 8, 2013 By activation servers, you mean to verify the application was purchased? If I do happen to keep the internet on, it won't contact them and tell them it's a cracked version will it? And Greyhat, I'll send you a PM so I'm not posting links to other forums on here. * - Nozemi⢠- Oct 9, 2013 NetLimiter can do this. Or Something called NetLock can do this. But I usually use NetLimiter. But disabling your network connection while installing should work just fine. Hopefully you get this solved!
