Hey HF,
I've made a few other threads about getting critiques and I feel this new section
is the perfect place to start a new one. So I'd like to throw out a few of my photos
to get your ideas. I'd love critiques, ideas for new shots, and what I need to work on or what you like.

My site is here at 500px.

Nice kit, i'm guessing a Nikon d3100,a 35mm f/1.8G prime and a 24-70 f/2.8?

Also, you should install Lightroom 5.2, you're working in an old version according to your exif data.

Wow, I have no knowledge in photography whatsoever, but these photos are beautiful. Great job.

Brother you are really good.
You need a bit more practice and need to try some hands on post-production techniques and methods.
You can hit me up if you need photoshop actions or Lightroom presets.

I really liked your Engagement section (Pic 1 and Pic 2)

Watching these pics makes me realise how bad I am. Very nice photographies.

I have 3 lenses but the 35mm f/1.8 the only lens I use. I want something better, the 24-70 was a one I've rented twice. I love it and really need to get a wide angle lens.

Yea, I've got a ton of actions and Lightroom presets, but I have yet to really dive into Photoshop, I don't have a lot of time at the moment to sit and learn it and all it's majesty, so for now I use Lightroom and Camera Raw.

Thanks for the compliment, but really I just watched youtube videos, learned how to use the Aperture-setting, then learned how to use Shutter-Priority, and that led to learning the Manual Setting. It only takes practice and repetition, and a little creativity. I love this art form and try to practice and have my camera at all times.

If you're talking about the motorcycle picture, I understand the difference, but I just put it under that subject because the person on the motorcycle is the main subject. Although, street photography is considered portraits and those are all candids. Hmmm...
