Modern Now Default - Omniscient - Oct 25, 2013
I've set Modern theme to be default now. Not because I want to force users to use it but because I realize my stats are skewed because new members are listed as using Old School but they may not realize they have a choice yet.
So if you're unhappy with Modern HF go into your UserCP and edit it to be Old School to revert to the old theme. Of course by doing so you miss out on the fun of the new design implementations.

Not a terrible theme, although I prefer the original. I do hope you are going to get new staff userbars. It is really ugly. No offense.

I kind of like this new theme. I just started getting active on HF again and it feels great to have a change in the design. my name in Light blue looks so cool. 😎

I'm loving the new theme right now, going to keep it. Nice to know that the Old School theme is still there though. Can't wait for some new design implementations.

I would like to know if the old school theme will always be available or if you will remove it later on.
If it will always be there then i dont want to change but if its going to change some day, better prepare myself.

I'll be checking it out every other day for changes, but otherwise it is an uncomfortable theme and I can't be using something unsubtle. The "Old School" one seems bolted and copes well in size and color, but the new one is ill-portioned and no offense -- but the colors and the blocks that are stars in the Old School one, are absolutely hideous. I'm sure you have heard this about 500 times, but the new theme is really "zoomed in." You're smart, you can compare the differences in both the themes and can realize that the new one is "in-there" when the Old School theme is laid out fully and cheerfully.
It's going to also be very weird having different group userbars if those group owners choose the route to create a second for the new theme . It's like a 2nd realm which a lot of users will be choosing to go on, and being away from it will do me good, as I like convenience and comfort when I'm typing on my phone, having used the Old School theme for years verses a sudden new one.
