[TUT]How to DoS using a Minecraft server[easy] - ฬєรlєч - Oct 28, 2013

Hello guys
This is my first thread here at HackForums.
How to DoS (or DDoS) using a MineCraft server.

Requirements:
  1. Minecraft host (I only tested on Linux)

  2. PHP DoS shell

  3. Some basic Minecraft server knowledge



Step 1
Get a Minecraft server host where you are going to upload the Shell
(I don't recommend a popular one!)

Step 2
Login to the multicraft panel, choose "Bukkit" or "CraftBukkit" and restart the server.

Step 3
Login to your server using your FTP client, go to your plugins folder and upload this plugin

Step 4
Reload or restart your server, then browse to the BukkitHTTPD folder in the plugins folder.

Step 5
Upload your PHP shell and name it boot.php

Step 6
Go to your console or join your server and do /httpd port 8080

Step 7
Go to http://serverip:8080/boot.php
Spoiler (Click to View)

Step 8
type in your victim's IP and Time in seconds and press "Go"

The server i used this on (15 seconds):
Completed with 181674 (11532.04 MB) packets averaging 12111.6 packets per second

Can you get your server taking down and get in big trouble for this?

I don't know..
Your minecraft server is going to have a massive lag spike while booting, that why i don't recommend a popular hosting company.

Btw guys, don't boot too much.
Some hosting owners can find out it was you :p

I could see this being useful if alot of your friends do it and you all attack at once :) It would make a hella cool boot.
