JNI HELP(repost from c++ section) - Ectopic - Nov 18, 2013 hey everyone, i recently have been trying to learn how to use native code in java from an ebook, but im having some issues. At some point the ebook tells me to create a dll from a file with a command, but the command is not recognised. Command: 'cl -Ic:\java\include -Ic:\java\include\win32 -MD -LD HelloWorld.c -FeHelloWorld.dll' Error: 'cl' is not recognised.... Another error that i got just now from retrying is : "The program can't start because mspdb110.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Please someone help, im in real need of it * - 3 Kings - Nov 19, 2013 Are you on a windows based operating system when running this? Also do you have the C++ packages install on your computer? * - ๖ۣۜShadowOp - Nov 19, 2013 you need to have visual studio installed for this to work. Make sure you have that installed and path variables set properly. * - Ectopic - Nov 19, 2013 i do have visual studio installed(im on windows), ill try setting the paths properly |
