Any nooby friendly IDE that I can use that isn't IDLE. I know the basics and wanted to start getting into the some new stuff. help would be appreciated.

do you know there are at least 10 other threads like this?

i still use IDLE, i tried getting into Sublime Text, but except for that neat scrolling feature it just kept getting in my way

PyCharm is by far my favourite. Either that or vim ^^

Spyderlib for small projects or Komodo IDE for large one.

I personally use sublime/light table.

If your stuck using idle i feel bad for you...

I use either IDEL or PyScripter. Either one works just fine for me.

IdleX, improves on IDLE quite a bit.

I use VIM personally, I can't stand a big heavy IDE

Sublime, its honestly really nice and easy to use

C:/Windows/System32/notepad.exe

No I'm kidding. I often just use nano... I HATE VIM! It's so fucking complicated.
