In Beginner Hacking Section: Add &#34;Social Media&#34; Section - MrTing - Dec 16, 2013 The Suggestion: Add a Social Media section within the Beginner Hacking forum. The Reason: Every day, there are numerous threads made on Facebook hacking and other related social media websites. These threads, although allowed, clog up the Beginner Hacking form, as well as make it an eye sore for other users. Moving them to a separate section would: 1. Clean up threads within the Beginner Hacking forum. 2. Create a higher quality Beginner forum, where genuine hacking questions can be answered. 3. Redirect new users with questions about Social Media hacking to the right place. Also, this would be extremely easy to implement, as It is only several clicks in AdminCP. * - B∆STILLE - Dec 16, 2013 Awesome Idea Deception.. Social media hacking is usually clogging the main thread! * - xhflhkeuhwguu34 - Dec 16, 2013 I'm not sure if this is the best idea... I'm torn between suggesting a thread prefix and agreeing. * - Aura - Dec 16, 2013 (Dec 16, 2013 06:45 PM)Xenon Wrote: I'm not sure if this is the best idea... A prefix wouldn't change anything to that situation to be honest. We really need to put these threads in another section. And this is the first new section area I support as it's will be relatively easy to find "100" threads to show that. * - #Thunder - Dec 16, 2013 I would assume the Website and Forum Hacking subforum would be more appropriate than the Beginner Hacking subforum. * - MrTing - Dec 16, 2013 (Dec 16, 2013 09:04 PM)#Thunder Wrote: I would assume the Website and Forum Hacking subforum would be more appropriate than the Beginner Hacking subforum. I would be happy if it was in either section. This, or have it in one of the sections and a redirect in the other. * - Terry A. Davis - Dec 16, 2013 Oh god please no. It would be full of spammers that just are so lq. That is why I have stopped helping in the BHS. But god it is horrible enough, please don't make it worse. * - #Thunder - Dec 16, 2013 (Dec 16, 2013 09:06 PM)Deception-X Wrote: I would be happy if it was in either section. You could attempt to request a thread prefix but I doubt it'll pull through as we have no need for it. * - Sparta. - Dec 16, 2013 This doesn't really make sense. It looks fine without a "Social Media Hacking" subforum/subsection. * - Terry A. Davis - Dec 16, 2013 Oh yeah while we're at it, if this does go through with it remove Ewhore and put it in marketing and replace it with social media hacking * - MrTing - Dec 17, 2013 (Dec 16, 2013 09:07 PM)Perfect Cell Wrote: Oh god please no. It already is terrible, that is why we are trying to move them to a different section where we wouldn't necessarily have to see them. * - Terry A. It it is like shoving your room's mess under your bed. Just hiding it not curing it. The BHS does have to be cleaned up, but nothing we do will ever change it without causing to much trouble * - MrTing - Dec 17, 2013 (Dec 17, 2013 07:47 AM)Perfect Cell Wrote: You'd be removing a large chunk of the BHS to another place. The BHS does have to be cleaned up, but nothing we do will ever change it without causing to much trouble The main point of this thread was to deal with the clogging threads, so I am open to any ideas even if it means something else than my suggestion. Everyone can agree that the BHS is terrible right now, just fixing it and curing it like you said, is the tough part. * - hellozepyr123 - Dec 17, 2013 yeah definitly i totally agree with that * - Dropbox - Dec 17, 2013 i agree with this idea because it would make the forum look more nice and tidy, good suggestion bud |
