Yes, this is called a "RAT", also known as a Remote Admin Tool.

It's not really possible unless they have literally no security on their computer. Now as mentioned by Understalker you could get a RAT or as he mentioned a Remote Administration Trojan, where you can control the computer remotely, though in order to achieve that you need to get them to download a stub, so basically you need them to download a file.

you can use smb08_net api vulnerability in windows xp machine try finding one using shodan search but remember i am not demoralizing you but finding this vulnerability is quite rare but heyy good luck...

If you are going to pursue RATing as suggested by Understalking, I have provided you with some RAT tools.
A RAT (Remote Application Tool) is a great way of gaining access to a victim's computer. You have to make a stub and send them a file & they have to execute it. Here are a few example's of programs to make RAT's:
DarkComet - Free & very useful. Would recommend if you have no money. Recommended
jRAT - $40, a good RAT tool. If you have a decent amount of money, I would recommend this. Recommended
legacyLink - $50.00, has fast speed when capturing Remote Desktop, which would make it easier to control slave's computer. Recommended

Getting them to download the file and running it not big a deal i can get them to do this
