My First Logo Creation Attempt. - Nutar - Dec 26, 2013

Hey guys,
So recently, I decided to learn graphic design and hopefully master it. So I started gathering some tutorials, got a membership on TreeHouse & learnt lots. So i started and created a Profile image and signature for me using minimal effort and simplicity. I then decided to start designing logos. And here is my first attempt.

ohh, I like! You should definitely make more, and then when you are better open up a graphics shop. ;3

I don't get it...

At first glance the logo image looks like a tennis ball with a bite out of it.

Please don't be too hard on a noob like me. Thanks!

Just mading an observation lol....

It's critical to nail a logo concept or you end up with just a basic image.

This looks like a professional logo, good job dude. :)
The only thing I dislike is the colors, they could be a tad softer.

I like it very much. Looks professional and clean to me. But maybe you need to be more creative about the details.

Rename it to "BallGuard", maybe it'll protect it. . .

OT; it's nice, but it is a bit too simple.

Very nice job, not bad for your first attempt...keep it up!...Im a graphic designer myself, been doing it for over 5 years...it's really fun

Useless as a logo because it doesn't have any meaning or unique design to it.
Also design a logo that will be effective in B&W so without that shine thing you have.

It looks really good, whats the website (or whatever that design is for) specialty? It looks like it is for a programming place or something

* - ImLogan - Dec 27, 2013

I'll give it an 8 assuming you wanted the simplicity. Good work

I like the tennis ball vibe you have going for you, although they are usually yellow.
