Update to evasi0n7 1.0.1 without re-jailbreaking! (OTA UPDATE) - drugs - Dec 27, 2013

This is only for those who haven't updated to evasi0n7 1.0.1. If you already updated, this thread will be a complete waste of time to you.

So if you're still jailbroken with evasi0n7 1.0.0 and have not updated, continue reading.

If you aren't already aware, evad3rs have released evasi0n7 1.0.1.
There is a thread on it here: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3949854

This does not mean that tweaks will start working. This does not update MobileSubstrate, or any of the tweaks you use.
All this update does is remove TaiG completely.

If you're on evasi0n7 1.0.0 and want to update to 1.0.1, you could download the updated jailbreak on http://www.evasi0n.com/ and re-jailbreak your device.
But that is too much of a hassle considering the jailbreak is still buggy and you have to restore your device if you want to re-jailbreak it.

Thanks to @Saurik, you can now update to evasi0n7 1.0.1 through Cydia.
Essentially, this is an OTA update, which means you don't have to re-jailbreak your device or do any restoring.

Simply just open Cydia and go to the Changes tab.
Hit Refresh in the top at the top.
Search for "evasi0n 7.x Untether"
Update.

I don't know what you mean. It has always been okay to jailbreak a device.

I'm assuming you're referring to tweak compatibility and all that junk.

Well I guess you didn't read because in the thread, I wrote this:

It's completely up to you and the device you use...If you have an iphone 5s there really isn't that much of a reason to do so yet.
