coded a program on vb obfuscated with red gate
it runs on my pc but i got a mate to test for me and he gets this error (or something like this)
this application has been built with an evalution version of smartassembly, and therefor cannot be distributed.
why is this.

It's pretty self explanatory isn't it? You are using a trail version.
Just use another obfuscator, confuser is a good one.

it has full functionallity besides the trial notice and some limits.

Patch the main method of your application protected to avoid that message. It must return True to avoid that message. Of course, do it without deobfuscating it.
