Protect yourself from getting resolved ? [Skype] - Supervisor - Jan 5, 2014 Hello everyone, Is there anyway to protect yourself from getting resolved on skype ? If I use a VPN, will any free VPN work? Please leave your tips bellow thank you. * - Herbo - Jan 5, 2014 There was a tutorial I seen, I will go find it. * - Supervisor - Jan 5, 2014 (Jan 5, 2014 12:20 AM)Liger Wrote: There was a tutorial I seen, I will go find it. I have searched for tutorials, but the one I have found are all old and outdated. * - Herbo - Jan 5, 2014 Here is a thread, have you tried this one: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3894244&highlight=skype * - Aura - Jan 5, 2014 You can use a VPN to be honest. Skype Resolvers already have a hard time resolving the real IP address (without any VPNs or proxies) due to Skype new security features, staying behind a VPN or Skype's in-built proxy feature will just make things harder. * - Supervisor - Jan 5, 2014 (Jan 5, 2014 12:28 AM)Aurа Wrote: You can use a VPN to be honest. Skype built in proxy feature, doesn't do any effect. I am using a VPN and I am still able to resolve my IP. I have this set for few months already. * - -zERAiT - Jan 5, 2014 The best thing u should do is working with skype while in a VPN connection. * - Aura - Jan 5, 2014 (Jan 5, 2014 12:35 AM)Supervisor Wrote: Skype built in proxy feature, doesn't do any effect. I doubt that you are able to resolve your own IP to be honest. Can you explain how you manage to do it ? * - Unorthodox1337 - Jan 5, 2014 Most Skype resolvers are not resolving IP's very well at the minute anyways. I've tried various different ones, paid and non paid, and to be honest there not showing very good results right now. * - Weebex - Jan 5, 2014 Didn't skype not use their api anymore, I saw this on a thread before * - Supervisor - Jan 5, 2014 (Jan 5, 2014 07:46 PM)BlueTigerSlayer Wrote: Didn't skype not use their api anymore, I saw this on a thread before People can still resolve me man and it is getting annoying... I am behind Proxy and VPN... I don't get it. * - Aura - Jan 5, 2014 (Jan 5, 2014 08:31 PM)Supervisor Wrote: I know, but those that are working actually resolve my own IP. You're resolving your VPN address, not your real IP address ... Damn. Lookup your IP address without VPN then look it up when using a VPN. They will be different. Also, maybe you're resolving it because you're launching the resolve from the targetted IP. * - Supervisor - Jan 5, 2014 (Jan 5, 2014 08:34 PM)Aurа Wrote: You're resolving your VPN address, not your real IP address ... I know my real IP 😉 "Also, maybe you're resolving it because you're launching the resolve from the targetted IP." What you mean by that? |
