New Sprint plan available - Unlimited voice, messages, 1gb data $25 a month - webdev77 - Jan 8, 2014 Sprint has unveiled a new "family plan" that allows any 10 individuals to group together and get a rate of just $25 a month. Important features for $25 (with 7-10 lines on the account): - Unlimited Voice - Unlimited Messaging - 1gb of Data Add-ons available: - 3gb of data for an extra $10 a month (per line option) - unlimited data for an extra $20 a month (per line option) Sprint: https://now.sprint.com/framily/?ECID=vanity:framily Nice little recap not by Sprint: http://www.techspot.com/news/55254-sprints-new-framily-plan-offers-deep-discounts-for-you-and-your-friends.html * - Lawsuit - Jan 8, 2014 this seems like a great deal if you are switching from AT&T but sprint has terrible service in my area. * - webdev77 - Jan 8, 2014 (Jan 8, 2014 03:29 PM)SMITEYOROUTER Wrote: this seems like a great deal if you are switching from AT&T but sprint has terrible service in my area. I'm aware of their rather crappy national coverage, but if they work well in your area, and you don't travel much, it's a fantastic deal. * - Euphorical - Jan 10, 2014 +$20 for unlimited data per month? This is VERY good... If you guys are serious hackers, I recommend putting your sim card in a router and using that for internet (very hard to trace compared to home broadband). If you have a family or whatever, this is perfect. $25 a month. Also, I just want to help people thinking about this... If you don't know how good sprint's coverage is, you can use this website and get a general idea of how good it is. (It's not PERFECt but it gives a good idea)... http://opensignal.com/ * - Minесraft - Jan 10, 2014 This is a pretty good deal if you are near freeways, as this is where Sprint has the best coverage. Do you really have to get 7 lines, though? * - Darkwin - Jan 10, 2014 I liked it until i read the fine print :( why do those tiny letters always ruin everything. * - webdev77 - Jan 10, 2014 (Jan 10, 2014 11:32 AM)Minесraft Wrote: This is a pretty good deal if you are near freeways, as this is where Sprint has the best coverage. Do you really have to get 7 lines, though? You don't personally have to have 7. You can essentially refer six other people to get the deal. Although, you can still get slight discounts if you have less than 7 people linked to your account, albeit, not quite as good of a deal then. * - Minesweeper - Jan 10, 2014 I just switched from Sprint recently, their coverage in my area was unfortunately very poor. I love the idea of unlimited data but the fact that I couldn't actually use it made it worthless for me 😟 I'm on AT&T now and their 4G speeds in my area are comparable to my home ISP speeds 😁 If you're thinking of switching to a new provider, find a friend who's currently on the provider and do some speed tests from their phone. You can't always trust the phones in the stores because they use local signal boosters like Sprint's Airave (Jan 10, 2014 11:32 AM)Minесraft Wrote: This is a pretty good deal if you are near freeways, as this is where Sprint has the best coverage. http://opensignal.com/ showing high signal strength near freeways is almost certainly a result of the way they record signal strength, if that is in fact what you're referring to 😅 The towers themselves are not exclusively near freeways |
