.DSA file in Jar META-INF? - SageCraze - Jan 11, 2014 What is this used for? Is it some sort of encryption, if so what exactly is it protecting and how do I do it for my own jars? Here is a little pic: Pic * - sarcosuchus - Jan 11, 2014 try to search its component in the internet or much better open it and read its code * - SageCraze - Jan 11, 2014 (Jan 11, 2014 08:36 PM)sarcosuchus Wrote: try to search its component in the internet or much better open it and read its code idk how to open it... and I have been researching and its an encryption but idk what exactly it is doing for the jar file? Like is it stopping people form decompiling or what? * - Victoria J - Jan 11, 2014 It's signing a jar file...attempts to stop other applications from dynamically running that jar. Can be "unsigned" in 3 seconds though so it's not really too important. |
