BigBoss error in Cydia [7.0.3] - jamo796 - Jan 15, 2014 I need to add preferenceloader... But whenever I try to load the bigboss repo I get Quote:Failed to fetch Is this a problem with bigboss, or cydia? Other repos are working fine. * - Unix1337 - Jan 15, 2014 You have to re install cydia... Since big boss is one of the default packages, cydia didt install it right. * - Dreams - Jan 15, 2014 Try removing the ultrasn0w repo. Also let cydia refresh. * - jamo796 - Jan 15, 2014 Does that require re-jailbreaking? Also I've removed and re-added bigboss multiple times. It's just not working. * - Sulfer - Jan 15, 2014 try using icleaner or do it yourself manually by: Navigate to /private/etc/apt/sources.list.d Delete the file "cydia.list" Navigate to /var/lib/apt/lists Delete all of the files in this folder except the one called "lock" Navigate to /var/lib/apt/lists/partial Delete all of the files in this folder Navigate to /var/lib/cydia Delete the file "metadata.plist" Restart Cydia. You should be at the first screen you saw when you first started Cydia: What kind of user are you? Make your selection and Cydia will re-generate the default sources link: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1564571 * - Dreams - Jan 15, 2014 (Jan 15, 2014 11:38 PM)jamo796 Wrote: Does that require re-jailbreaking?Removing the ultrasn0w repo? No. I meant to quot the "Re-install Cydia" post. Also I removed ultrasn0w repo, still get same error. * - Sulfer - Jan 15, 2014 (Jan 15, 2014 11:39 PM)Dreams Wrote: Removing the ultrasn0w repo? No. doesnt make since, why would you have to remove a repo that is not connected to the error. if it was failing to fetch from the ultrasn0w repo then sure delete it.but its not sooo why would that be problem?😶 * - jamo796 - Jan 15, 2014 (Jan 15, 2014 11:39 PM)Sulfer Wrote: try using icleaner or do it yourself manually by: Repo for either of these methods?
