USB keyboard switcher? - Bӏue - Jan 17, 2014 Is there any sort of splitter USB tool I can use to switch USB devices between computers without having to do it manually? I wanna have 3 separate computers (I understand having one running 3 screens is easier but I don't want that) different OS's, and I can attach 3 screens to my desk, but I don't want 3 keyboards and mice. is there anything I can use to to rapidly switch between PC like a dial or some shit? * - Angel Beats - Jan 17, 2014 (Jan 17, 2014 02:50 PM)Lesky Wrote: Is there any sort of splitter USB tool I can use to switch USB devices between computers without having to do it manually? I've already got 2 PC's, its a long story but you would understand 👍 Linux on one, my main PC im using now, and a 3rd for compiling, rendering, and occasionally as a virus test rig. You're right, it's a KVM switch. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KVM_switch It's commonly used in Computer Repair Shop, Retail Stores and Entreprises/Companies to only use one monitor, mouse and keyboard for multiple computers. We have 4-5 of these switches at my job (for our team). |
