Add to Marketplace: Coders Marketplace - Eternal. - Jan 20, 2014

I want to find a coder for 143VPN and the first thing I want to do is go to the coding section to ask people who are proficient in coding. Problem is, I will be banned.

The reason I would want to do that is because there is no section in the marketplace for this niche, and there really should be. It would make a lot of things easier, for instance a request would be more likely to be seen by coders if there was a section for it rather than by people who have little to no experience.

I think this is a great idea. There is a section in Graphics for this exact thing, why not have such a section for coding? Since people aren't allowed to ask such things, about how is the best coder to hire, they won't bother dealing through HF, they will just take the project to somewhere such as freelancers.

Pointless to add an entire section for it...
Partnerships, Hiring, and Personnel

I agree tenfold, I had a web development shop opened awhile back in the service offering forum and it got little to no traffic, and it wasn't even worth my time any more. People don't know to go to that part of the forum to look for coding jobs, and that's the only relevant place you can post them without getting banned as you said, or warned if posted in the wrong place in the marketplace.

I also would like this section made b/c it's hard to find coders on hackforums and this section will bring a good amount of them. I have projects I would like to get made as I don't code yet. So I truely believe this section would be a great addition to hackforums :)

I think this is un-needed for multiple reasons.
The section will die out every now and then since there is a service offerings section and buyers buy.

Then why is there an entire section for Paid Graphics Works. Partnerships, Hiring, Personell is a much wider spectrum of jobs and offers. A coding paid coding section could apply to both sellers and buys. When people need coding work done, they will know exactly where to go, and find someone to get it done quicker.

The Graphics Market gets posted in constantly daily, isn't coding services just as desirable as graphics? The forums are full of innovators with great ideas, but are looking for people to bring there ideas to life. There is a sub-section for social networking, and graphics, what harm would coding do?

I fully agree with this.

For those who say "Post in the Buyers Bay", thats for buying complete programs and such, not for services.

For those who say "Post in the Service Offerings Section", what if you don't like a coder from there? If you want a knowledgeable and able coder for the job, you make a listing directly for the job. You don't find a general coder who's going to half-ass the project.

Plus, it would help organize everything.

1+ on this.
A lot people want plugin development done, which there isn't a real section for this. I fully agree.

I have to agree with this. I normally go to other sites because I need something done. When I could just post/look in this section for someone to do it.

This seems like a great idea, but only problem will be coders that aren't actually coders. People will just take a random source and change it up.

I do hope that this section is created. I support and think it's a great and useful idea.

EDIT;

That could happen whether or not a section is made specifically to find coders. Say, for instance, OP posted in Buyers Bay. The same thing could happen there.

I agree with this, despite the probably lack of activity. Something in the service section for: Web Dev, coding support, application development, and scripts/sources.

* - Sudsy - Jan 20, 2014

I like this idea, very cool. I'd sure use it if I need to hire coders

* - deiski - Jan 20, 2014

We have service offerings, I don't see why we'd need coding.
