Abusing The Ub3r Junk Feature - Sʜᴀᴅᴏᴡ Rᴇᴀʟᴍ - Jan 21, 2014

So this user: https://hackforums.net/member.php?action=profile&uid=1678290

Is abusing the Ub3r junk feature to make Deal Disputes (Not scams because I don't wanna get rf'ed)

He is making market threads that are so stupid (e.g. SpeedInfection getting 1M traffic for an exploit kit, and selling it for $200. For those of you who don't know all that much about traffic, For quality traffic your looking for 10k-30k for $200 depending on where it comes from)

He has also made other threads about rootkits for sale for like $1000 when he doesn't have it. Anyways this is getting off topic.

Is it allowed to make a sales thread, Make sales and then junk the thread 24 hours after and cause a deal dispute for a non working product. Look at his Ub3r Junks in his posts

It's nothing about the scamming (Although that does piss me off) But more about just consistently abusing his privilege

Yes it sadly is allowed probably as staff doesn't get involved with scam reports.
He is abusing it a lot to remove evidence for scam reports and such.

* - cyberducky - Jan 21, 2014

I am surprised that this is allowed. In my opinion that is just sad.

* - Superstition - Jan 21, 2014

I think its allowed because he paid to upgrade to uber.. Plus, he could just claim that the method got patched so the thread was worthless...

On the bright side, he can only junk every 24 hours!

The only cure for this kinds of scams it's prevention. Always check reputation before dealing with other members.

I'm not just saying it about him. There is a feature and he is abusing it. hopefully a mentor can respond to this soon

Problem with this guy was after he sold a non existent product he threatened the buyer and told him he would never get there money back if they reported or negged him. That's how he has gone undetected for so long.

I dubt he would have ever gave money back.
If you get scammed you have to open a report, and explain what happened with pmes' screenshoots. Posting a PM containing a threat like that, would have ended with an instantly account closed for the seller.

Is there a way to post a pm without a deal dispute? I have a pm containing threats.

Post a dispute and include the PM. Tell about the way to scam (junking sales threads). Add as many proofs as you can.

* - Bat™ - Jan 21, 2014

I have seen many threads in MP containing the PM's.
Post it ?

* - USMC Chris - Jan 21, 2014

Yes, though he shouldn't be able to, he can.
Some people abuse Ub3r features, there isn't really anything that can be done.

Still looking for a clear answer on this. Mentors/Staff please

Alternatively he could just forward the PMs to an administrator... 🤦‍♂

I say you shouldnt be able to junk marketplace threads unless its by a mod/staff. Ub3r really need to have more junking instead of only 1 a day
