[Keep an eye on this] Confirmed = Facebook Exploit - Ergo Proxy - Jan 27, 2014 Original credit goes to this thread for spotting it early: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4024596 This page is accumulating tens of thousands of real likes REALLY fast for no reason: www.facebook.com/pages/Pure-picture/350041885134275 These are not botted in fact, a few of my friends on Facebook have liked the page without knowing so. Possibilities: 1) Worm 2) Facebook Exploit (maybe silent clickjacker?) Lets keep an eye out on this and see how big this page ends up getting before Facebook realises. Keep an eye out for the page guys! * - Maximum² - Jan 27, 2014 Wtf that's strange. Maybe it's a hijacked app or some shit? * - Viral Dragon - Jan 27, 2014 COuld be someone gained access to one of the servers. Found an applications vulnerable to attack and attacked it forcing people to silently like a page when they login to this app. -Viral. * - Ergo Proxy - Jan 27, 2014 (Jan 27, 2014 10:50 PM)Viral Dragon Wrote: COuld be someone gained access to one of the servers. Found an applications vulnerable to attack and attacked it It could definitely be an application exploit. It's obvious by the page name that the hacker is testing out the waters. This could be very profitable for him lol. * - yawaka - Jan 27, 2014 i think it's javascript or something idk 🙂 * - Inkling - Jan 27, 2014 I'm willing to bet it's the facebook Graph API on a rogue App that's doing this. * - pr0tobit - Jan 27, 2014 That's really fucking weird. I've seen a bunch of Facebook hacks and what not, but never really anything along these lines. Definitely keeping an eye on this. * - NoodleBot™ - Jan 27, 2014 This is simply what happens when certain apps get through the "standard testing" and security tests. * - iRead - Jan 27, 2014 I'll check on this in the morning, currently at 46,100 * - Sonarx - Jan 27, 2014 (Jan 27, 2014 10:49 PM)X-Ray Wrote: Wtf that's strange. Maybe it's a hijacked app or some shit? This is what I was thinking. The possibilities of an internal fb exploit vs. an application exploit that all these users have... eh most likely the latter. I don't have a facebook anymore, but I'd like to see how this plays out. * - Ergo Proxy - Jan 27, 2014 (Jan 27, 2014 10:59 PM)Reggie Wrote: I'll check on this in the morning, currently at 46,100 Lol it's increasing steadily every minute, I bet it'll hit a million. * - Crake - Jan 27, 2014 Right, big fracking deal. It's likely just a worm. There's literally hundreds of malicious FB apps that could do this, and even some silent ones. In fact, I'm building an app that could potentially be applied in this manner (looking for prices -- check my sig, right link) * - Texium - Jan 27, 2014 Thanks for alerting me, I'll keep an eye out. * - Maxorg - Jan 27, 2014 I think it's a exploit VIA application or something so to like page :o something like Facebook Hacker maybe? ( the php product) * - rapidfire08 - Jan 27, 2014 Something's definitely fishy...Need to investigate on it. |
