MyBB installation error! - ANME - Feb 13, 2014
I've done everything correctly but some files couldn't get uploaded. Uploaded MyBB files in the correct folder but when I go for installing the forum with www.myforum.com/install, it always shows this error : http://error404.SPAM.com/?
Why is it that error keep occuring?
The files that didn't get uploaded are :
Could not create directory /public_html/Upload/admin/
Could not create directory /public_html/Upload/admin/backups/
Copied file /public_html/Upload/admin/backups/index.html
Could not create directory /public_html/Upload/admin/inc/
and there area many other files/directory too that didn't get uploaded.

Tip: Dont use SPAM, try http://x10hosting.com instead.

Try to re-upload your files to your forum root and make sure the install folder is there and not locked. Also get a better host.

Make sure you have permissions on the script side to do these file operations.

Hey ive used SPAM, and it works perfect.
Look it might be that you lost connection to the FTP or something.
Upload your files in /public_html/

Yes you will have to upload all files into "public_html" and the index file needs to be in that folder in order to access it directly.

It's SPAM. I had problems with them when I first started creating websites. They used to suspend me from viewing my site because I uploaded too many files within 24 hours.
