Fixed Navagation Bar vs. Positioned Navigation bar - ᴺᴼᴬᴴ - Feb 22, 2014
What do you prefer?
A navigation bar fixed at the top, or a positioned navigation bar?
Personally, I like fixed navigation bars. I don't really know why, they just appeal to me.

I like the navigation bar fixed at the top, I think that it looks more "HQ",
And you can add footer- urls at the bottom.

Personally thing that a nav bar fixed to the top looks better.

Depends on the type of webpage. For just your everyday info site/shopping I prefer and think a "positioned navigation" works better and looks better; web applications seem to benefit from the use of a "fixed navigation", pages need to be easily switched and options available quickly.
