Infecting a Computer - young yachty - Feb 25, 2014

Is there anyway to infect a computer with something like Win 7/8 without actually making the user click any links etc.

If this takes time to learn and is hard I'm keen to learn. I'm not being an ultra lam ass skid here, I'm not aksing you exaclty how to do this and what tools automate something like this(probably none anyway). I'm asking how to learn.

Note: I'm familiar with Kali and MetaSploit but these seem next to useless towards modern OS's

Thanks Bros

Well, not really. The NT kernel is gradually becoming more secure...

There are a LOT of things you can do that can definitely work. However, attacks such as NTLM relay or pass the hash or remote BOF exploits etc... are contingent upon the software running.

If it is a home network that doesn't have an NTLM authenticated usershare and he has no vulnerable 3rd party services running, there's not really much you can do....

Yes and No. If i'm not mistaken you can infect computers that's connected to your router other than that no they have to download your virus.

Many of those are social engineering attacks (IE coercing the user to download a program).

Ex:
You spoof the victim to your IP through means of DNS spoofing. They are greeted with a "You need to update your browser" page. They get a download, they run it,,,

By not clicking the link, that's actually a really good question. Anyways, I believe you could do it if the computer is connected to your network. Other than that, I'm not sure. You could always just search about this topic, and hope for the best.

if you have physical contact to computer you can use something like USB Rubber Ducky. All you need is insert the Rubber Ducky and it's execute the script you wrote.

They are actually still quite useful.

How? The only thing I can think of is SE attacks.
