[TALK] What is your recommendations? [TALK] - Brule - Mar 1, 2014

Hello all fellow members, today I'm making this thread so you in the comments can tell/share with me/others what you recommend of anti-virus, malware-removal, firewalls and all kinds of protection.

Thanks in advance ! 🤝

I prefer this one. Clean.
AntiVirus: MBAM PRO.
System tools used every minute and constantly running:
Msconfig, Task manager, RegShot, .NET app to block pings from unknown sources, Microsoft network monitor, Zemana antilogger, Resmon.

Cleaning my PC up: Use a virtual machine every time I code and install programs. Makes everything a lot cleaner. CCleaner works well aswell.

Right away, Malwarebytes isn't an Antivirus. Malwarebytes is meant to run alongside a real Antivirus so I strongly suggest you to install one now.

I know every single processes location, size and if it came with windows off by heart. I know every single service on my pc off by heart aswell, and I run custom firewalls which destroy any third party ones. I analyze all my memory dumps almost daily, and IMO I don't mind having a nice rat on my pc, it is fun to rootkit their server and turn the slaves on the server, and then release them all. Quite entertaining.

I would like to see proofs of that to be honest.

Short term memory is quite good, but nowhere near photographic. Only in the past few months have I ever used tools other than task manager and process hacker. I had two weeks without internet recently and decided to see how much I could learn from what Windows comes with. Knowing sizes and shit is only useful in the event you have a worm stubbing itself into a million different files, but the services on my PC got drilled into my head after I tried to figure out why the fuck I had bluetooth still running.

The rootkitting part was when I got "explorer.exe" on my pc. The shit virus was stubbed into the legit windows version, and I decided to teach a skid a lesson. I don't use a VPN or proxy for that matter, so maybe one day when I get a faster speed with a reliable ping I can show you.
(I'm cautious as fuck when it comes to the programs on my computer, and it can really be a pest to be so frantic when a new process is running or I notice an attempted outbound connection)

You seem like the kind of Whitehat person I would like to know, so maybe one day I can get in touch with you.

I would recommend keeping the following for security on your computer:
