Alright I know this may be a odd thread..
But I've been thinking for a while, and well... I may actually be autistic.
Alright, so my whole life I've disliked human contact. Even eye contact, I find it hard to stare people in the eyes... I can touch and communicate with animals, just not humans. I have hard interacting with people at all unless I know you well. There's about 4 people that I will actually smile at. That I feel comfortable around. These people are, my girlfriend, my best friend, my mother, and a few other friends. If I talk to other people I almost have a panic attack. I'm always worrying what they are thinking about me. If I look good enough. If I'm talking right (I sometimes stutter, something that's recently developed... I don't even know why.)
A few other things I'll point out that show autism is I'm intelligent. Hell I'm fucking smart, I'm not gonna lie. I have good and bad grades. 2 F's and 5 A's. I'm in 5 AP classes. But school isn't a measurement of intelligence. We all know this. I have a semi-identical memory. I remember the little things and these little things help me remember the big picture. Well that's how my doctor explained it when I was 8.
Also, when it comes down to the communication thing. I'm fine when I text or message. Its just in real life that fucks me up...
So do you think I should go get tested for Autism?
Am I just socially awkward?

School is not a proper measurement of intelligence.
I do bad on school work simply because of stress and shit.
Give me a test and I'll ace it.

Definitely not autism.
Definitely not "anti-social".
Chances are you have some sort of general anxiety disorder, which is very common. Though yours may be a bit more severe than others.

Go to a psychologist(can be expensive if you don't have insurance, but worth it for your sanity), they'll be able to determine if it's autism, or if your suffering from something else.

Really, then what was the SAT/ACT created to do?
I can give you a test on advanced calculus in quantum mechanics and I bet you that you won't ace it.

I think what he means is, if you're failing a class, sure it could mean you're stupid, but not everyone who is failing is stupid. A lot is because of missed homework, which can be caused because of stress.

For anyone, stress shouldn't be a factor in missing homeworks.
How does that even make any sense? I'm stressed due to all this missed homework, so I'll just miss some more and hope to be less stressed.
