If you look at it that way then yes that may be an upside of dying alone. The thing you're gonna die thunking nobody actually cares for you.

I'd be happy. That way I know that no-one will be hurt when I'm gone.
That time comes when I'm dying, so I'll be gone soon, so it won't bother me for long.

Well technically you die alone, so I'll choose option 2. Although neither of these (hopefully) will happen but right now I would be in the second options list.

I would rather die a virgin but be loved by friends and family, maybe even a romantic partner.
Right now I'm going through a phase that may or may not pass, but love is pretty important to me. I do my best to give and receive love as much as I can, and I can't imagine a world without it.

I like how you think. From what I've gathered from the replies, sex≥love. I'd think not. It's true that love is dull without sex but sex without love is much worse.
