This isn't "just for backtrack"

No problem, its honor to post that there. I remember when i was first time fighting with BT5 + TOR, take hours & hours to get that installe & configured succesfully.

I bet this TUTO helps alot of people, saves their time & nervous. Linux is a bit diccifulty to use if user dont have experience for that. 🤝

This method of running Tor isn't recommended.

Download the TorBrowser_Bundle and run it like that. That is the recommended way by The Tor Project.

.onion sites most likely aren't working for anyone that uses this tutorial...

Last but not least. You link to an Alpha version. It probably has some bugs that could be vital to your security and anonymity. Use the stable version instead. Alpha is given out to test it and receive feed back about bugs to fix in next stable versions.

Yep you need bundle if you wanna run .onion sites, but that keeps you safe when you are browsing internet. And as i write (Check if there are updates for TOR).

Not only that, but, he didn't even bother to go over the steps to disable scripts, as some plugins establish direct TCP connections.

You can link tips how to disable those on PM or just post on this thread, so i add those to topic.
