Made $870 today..but I could have made $2500 - lucida - Mar 11, 2014
So I bought a stock called FMCC awhile ago and held 880 shares at 3.0236. It's been going up for awhile now and hit $6 today, so I go to class, after 2 hours I check the stock to see it's down 40%. So I quickly try and sell it and take a $600 profit. Then I waited for it to bottom, bought the stock FNMA at 3.83 (800 shares) and sold it at 4.16 for a profit of $248.
All in all i'm pretty pissed cause I could have made well over $2500..instead I made almost $900...just a small lesson to never get to greedy I guess
tl;dr bought a stock, was up $2500, went to class, stock went down, only made $870

Don't hate on yourself for selling it at the wrong time. Stocks are a guessing game, and it's awesome that you made $870! Hell, I would lose money if I ever went into stock!

There is never I could have.. In the trading business that is a daily concerns for many traders, you just have to deal with it however you still made a good profit so congratulations.

Although you could have made more, $870 is a hell of an amount. Use this money to make more, invest wisely and remember to spend some for yourself!

Appreciate all the support everyone! Starting not to really care about the extra money I would have made, I'm actually really happy I made $900, my goal for this year is $10,000!
