Anyone with Go Daddy? - Coming Soon page - Poppet - Mar 22, 2014

HeyHey,

When I navigate to my site www.mobasoft.co.uk, it comes up with the default go daddy coming soon page.

How do I remove this and make my site read my own files stored on the server?

Thanks.

It does say:
If you are the owner, sign in here.

And redirects me to cpanel which doesn't do anything.

log in to your FTP via FTPzilla then remove the default files and index.html and replace with your own

If its only a domain you have with them you will need to get your nameservers from your hosting and change them on the godaddy cpanel!

Godaddy adds default pages. Delete them; to find their names you can make a new subdomain and find what files are added. For their Windows hosting they add:
  • \/dir/\App Data

  • default.aspx

  • index.html

  • layout-style.css

  • stdfooter.html

Then it should work, and if it doesn't try to go direct to one of your files. Make your homepage either index.html/php or default.aspx for easy navigation
