Enhanced notifications question - Ombra - Mar 26, 2014 Probably this is one thing that i'm dreaming, but maybe it can be realized. I'm usual to read with the computer next to me, but checking each couple of minutes the screen for new messages is boring (despite i have an auto-refresh enabled) so i was wondering: is it possible to create a plugin/script wich play a sound each time that the "new pm" notification appears? * - T e s s e r a c t - Mar 26, 2014 (Mar 26, 2014 11:59 AM)Ombra Wrote: Probably this is one thing that i'm dreaming, but maybe it can be realized. It is not possible as I had been a part of the project with people on www.SupportForums.net to create a system, it worked for a little bit, then Omniscient shot it down for some reason or it just stopped working. There is a collaboration between the developer and Omniscient to allow an actively checking PM system to notify your Desktop computer. To my knowledge, non as of right now. As an alternative, I can tell you to get Checker Plus for Gmail or an email notifying extension for your browser, have "Notify by email when I receive new PMs" and you will get a notification from the extension that tells you a new PM has arrived in your Inbox based off the email. Layman terms: HF Emails you of new PM > Extension reads Email and plays a sound with notification > you go and check PMs. * - Ombra - Mar 26, 2014 (Mar 26, 2014 07:49 PM)MaiTriCks Wrote: It is not possible as I had been a part of the project with people on www.SupportForums.net to create a system, it worked for a little bit, then Omniscient shot it down for some reason or it just stopped working.
