Removing the added post count of The Lounge. - deiski - Apr 4, 2014
I remember when it use to be you don't get any post count for posting in the lounge.
Personally, it's better like that, despite that I have almost 1000 posts in The Lounge, I'd be willing to lose even 4k of my posts if this was added back, I feel it would stop the low quality posting of The Lounge.
Apologies if this has been suggested, just my opinion.

Think about it though, The Lounge is where people can discuss practically any topics, whether it be 'I stubbed my toe' or ' my power is out', they'll actually have to think about what they post about, if there going in the marketplace they have to actually read and reply, instead of just replying, in my opinion its likely to increase the quality and less of 'internet trolls'.

My point, EVERYBODY posted about it, I admit I did too, but I was one of the first, I didn't realize it would get ridiculous as I never contributed to that stuff.

I think this is a good idea. Some people just rack up posts in the lounge. It is the same way in group lounges or any other lounge. I hardly post in the lounge so this wouldn't bother me.

If people are using Hackforums for the purpose of spamming to increase their post count... then in my opinion they should be banned. We don't need them anyway.
Therefore, I think this is an excellent idea... hence the 6 billion threads/posts into the lounge on April Fools... Plus, the lounge is for talking about whatever you want, therefore you shouldn't get post counts anyway and should have next to no rules within reason.

It's their own count raising, not yours. It doesn't affect you at all. You can do the exact same as they can and spam.

As I just stated, the quality of the section will not increase. The trolling will remain, it is inevitable.
This will not be changed.
I guess we can just agree to disagree here, but it will always have the same outcome.

Your post counts reflects nothing. Staffs junk threads of low quality. So, having those post counts will not hurt.
