triple monitor using another pc? - EthanX - May 3, 2014

My main computer has dual monitors.
I have a decent pc hooked up next to mine and i currently (sorta) have a triple monitor setup now, Using mouse without borders, letting me share my main computers mouse/keybord with my other pc.
Is there a way I could move programs over to my other computer? Like drag a google chrome window to that other computer? Or maybe like use that computer to make a complete third monitor for my main pc?

I see what you're trying to accomplish here. You're trying to share hard drives with another computer as if Google Chrome would run on the other computer with that other hard drive.

I am not sure if it's possible to do, as far as I know it is possible to use a dual monitor to share the screens between one computer. Using a monitor to show what's on both computers i.e. two different hard drives and share that same monitor is very unlikely unless it is shared over a network.

Yes, in fact you can use another computer as a third monitor over network.
Check out MaxiVista. I used it for a while until I realized I really needed that third monitor, and so I bought another monitor instead.

I think I've tried that before. It's a trial and only works right if you buy it.

$40 isn't a lot if you really want it.

I've used the application that Doctor Blue recommended and it is certainly worth the $40. When/if you have the money, I recommend buying it if you really want it like Doctor Blue said. Good luck!
