[TUT] How to resize images in your post, when they are too big. - Finesse God - May 14, 2014 Not sure where I should be posting this so I'm just putting it here in the hope that a Staff member will move it to the correct section. I see a lot of users on HF posting images which are way bigger than what they should be. For example, this thread: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4226394 Images like these (spoilered because it's a huge image): Spoiler (Click to View) Can easily be resized without any photo-editing programs or whatsoever. You don't even have to reupload the picture. All you have to do is add a few things to the image tag. Original, huge image: Code [img]https://i.imgur.com/98je5Ep.png[/img]Would become: Code [img=300x500]https://i.imgur.com/98je5Ep.png[/img]![]() 300 stands for the image width and 500 is the image height. Simple as that. I hope that I helped everyone who didn't already know of this simple trick. Works on most MyBB forums. * - Codeιne - May 14, 2014 Holy shit. Thank you. I've just been resizing them on imgur but I actually like this a lot better. * - Infinity. - May 14, 2014 Instead use Picresize.com ? that helps me a lot :) * - loot share - May 14, 2014 (May 14, 2014 11:09 PM)RondoNumbaNine Wrote: Not sure where I should be posting this so I'm just putting it here in the hope that a Staff member will move it to the correct section. This is a very nice thread, a very nice one & you are saying some words from your own world "Instead use Picresize.com". I just LOLed at that, really man, That's insanely weird reply. :D Super awesome tut OP. I never knew this, Thanks for sharing this! Unless you are unemployed, expelled from college/school & insanely free. :D * - Talu - May 19, 2014 Great tutorial mate, thanks for sharing. * - Coobro - May 20, 2014 This is actually quite handy because a lot of the people on here don't know how to resize their large images. Nice tutorial and I hope you win the cash prize! :) |
