[Odd Scam Attempt][CS: GO Knife] Bethany Mota - UID - 1449790 [Payment Not Recieved] - D‎‎‏‍‎‏‎‏‍‎‎‏‍‎‏ark - May 28, 2014

So this little shit is an odd one, he posted a thread seen here:
https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4254364

He was selling a Case Hardened Karambit and another knife.
I decided I was going to inquire about the karambits and how much they would cost.
And this is how the PM's went.

After talking on steam for a while about other shit, we finally decided we would deal. He was ok with going first to me as I didn't trust any of those steam rep people and have never used that website.
We agreed to use a HF middleman previous to the deal but decided against it as it would take so long for a paypal payment to be held.

Anyway, after we got down to it, we traded on steam.
All was fine, he gave the knife and I gave the money.
A few moments later he messages me, says he didnt get the money and he wants his knife back "Right now!!".
I show him my payment details and recent transactions.

He proceedes with this story that he "Didn't get the money" etc etc.
And to give his knife back.

This users attempt to scam or something to get his knife back, just doesn't add up to me, i dont understand what method he is going about it but it didn't work.
He now claimed to make a deal dispute thread against me and how I never paid him. ._.
Lets just see how this all pans out.

Just watch out for this user.

If this user Join.me's proof, that he sent the payment.

Which he will not because apparently he does not Join.me "With Scammers"

This report is valid. Good luck settling this.

Can't really back you up on this, did not see any proof of user telling you hes/her paypal email.

Your getting all of your friends to stop by and say that your report is correct even though it is not.

Sorry individual, I do not know or associate with this user but it seems this is a legit scam report as Paypal can never make a mistake on a sent payment especially with a cost that high.

Post a picture of your recent PayPal transactions, and then you two can talk...

OP clearly made a legit deal, especially considering "Bethany" can't provide any proof to say otherwise.

Exactly, with out proof that you did not receive payment, your word is nothing but a false statement.

This is the counter-thread in case any of you missed it. https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4254771 not much proof inside, if I had to decide who's right I'd say dark is, as he's showing proof :D
