Secunia PSI is a tool that can be used to monitor your installed applications for new updates. When started, Secunia PSI will scan your computer for applications and install any updates that are available for them. The page no longer exists. From what you are explaining it as, it is the same idea of a program that goes out to find updates for drivers, which usually suck. I would deal with caution if anyone were to download this program.
