Coding, *nix Tutoring [Years of experience][C/C++, x86 ASM, Perl, *nix] - Saustin - Jun 3, 2014 8/6/15: After a long hiatus, I am back open. C\C++: I've taught a lot of people C/C++ -- some of them online, some of them in person. I was self taught C/C++ and then I took C/C++ classes at one of the top engineering universities in the world. (I just didn't get a job over summer. Oops.) If using Windows, please have Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 preinstalled for best familiarity. You can get a 30 day trial, or go to TPB. Thank you. If using Linux, please have gcc and g++ preinstalled. If you do not know how, I can show you. Thank you. x86 Assembly: You must know C before I will even talk about this. I am very good at optimizing programs using inline assembly or straight assembly; for size and performance. I'd prefer Windows MASM but we can do Linux NASM as well. Perl: CGI+MySQL, random CPAN modules, web/HTTP bots. I'm sure I can suit your needs. Linux/*BSD: I have much experience using Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc,) FreeBSD, and OpenBSD. I have setup 30+ VPSs in my life, and they are very simple for me now. I can teach you how to compile things, keep hackers out, and more. Those are just the basics. Equal experience under Windows and Linux environments. Please have administrator access. Thank you. Security: I have a lot of knowledge of opsec. If you are very serious about security, I'm your man. But with security comes compromise, so do not be surprised if I tell you something you don't like. I am not a pentester, I focus purely on defensive security. Prices and Terms: It depends on your skill level, what you want to learn, when you want to learn.. but a healthy guess is $7-$15/hr (while I'm getting vouches.) For some, this may sound steep, but you will get a educated professional dedicated to helping you learn over a Skype call (or TeamViewer.) I'm currently a student, so we may have to schedule things. Weekends are (usually) open. TeamViewer will cost a little extra ($3/hr extra.) At this time, I will only accept irreversible payment (ie BTC/OSRS). Sorry for any inconvenience, but if you do business on HF you should have BTC anyway. Users which I am unable to understand due to EXTREMELY poor English will be ignored, amongst other things. Untrusted members go first. I am clearly trusted. I would not waste a 5 year old HF Ub3r on a $20 scam. No PayPal for untrusted members (as I see fit.) I apologize, however I am currently experiencing issues with PayPal. Timing is done via stopwatch and agreed upon beforehand. No refunds for time used. Unused time will be refunded at a rate of 95% (for taking up my time.) All prices are negotiable until I have vouches settled in. Feel free to message me or post below. Speak to me if you doubt any of my experience! * - WasAllFunAndGames - Jun 3, 2014 What is your cost...Im honestly trying to learn them all. * - Saustin - Aug 6, 2015 My service is back open. I will offer cheap rates for a few members as I am trying to obtain vouchers. You may ask me anything through PM if you do not think I know squat. * - ๖ۣۜCyber - Aug 7, 2015 Posting here to remind myself, for your C++ lessons where do you start for someone that knows a bit of the basics? like what topics do you cover? * - Th3PonyWizard - Aug 7, 2015 You look interesting. We are running competing services. Good luck to you as well. * - Saustin - Aug 7, 2015 (Aug 7, 2015 07:51 AM)๖ۣۜSalvation Wrote: Posting here to remind myself, for your C++ lessons where do you start for someone that knows a bit of the basics? like what topics do you cover? That's a pretty wide open question. I would say "C++ basics" are anything before you get to pointers, as that's what gets a lot of people hung up. We'll determine where you lay in terms of C++ knowledge. (Aug 7, 2015 07:53 AM)Th3PonyWizard Wrote: You look interesting. We are running competing services. Good luck to you as well. I didn't see! Good luck to you as well. 👍 * - Annointed - Aug 7, 2015 Saustin is a very cool guy, spoke to him for a couple of minutes, and he definitely knows what he's talking about. He also has a great style of teaching! * - Nicholai - Aug 7, 2015 You seem like one that knows what he is doing, good luck with your sales, I'm sure a lot of people can use this! * - Saustin - Aug 7, 2015 Did a quick 30 minute lesson with Annointed today, he seemed to be very pleased! Thanks, Nicholai -- once you know the job, presentation is second most important! * - Stoned AF - Aug 7, 2015 Will this ever turn into a coding service? I am lookin for an experienced C/C++ network programmer. * - Saustin - Aug 8, 2015 (Aug 7, 2015 10:32 PM)Hammered Wrote: Will this ever turn into a coding service? If it's worth my time and it's not ridiculous (most ideas are,) I'll do it. * - poecile - Aug 9, 2015 Hey, I need some assistance with my C++, I essentially need you to run through my code with me and assist me with the errors I currently have and how to improve/fix them if possible, I do not have enough posts to PM you so if you could add me on skype I'd greatly appreciate it! "kalvinnnn" is my skype name. |
