Hey, I don't know if it's just me, but when I go to search hackforums a lot of the time the thing I'm looking for is a 3 character word.
There has been countless times it hasn't allowed me to search due to it being less then 4 characters.
Is this just me or have other people experienced it also?
Edit: Also having to wait 25 seconds per search? "Sorry, but you can only perform one search every 25 seconds" what's the point of that?

I experience this too, also words with spaces too somehow!
3 is a good number.

I agree. Not allowing three characters aside from having potentially minor performance issues when running a query like that is simply beyond me.

It has always annoyed me, and I'm sure it also annoys other users.
They should definitely change that.

Yeah this actually happens to me from time to time, would be nice to see this implemented
like seaching for like VPN, .Net, BTC, web and lot, lot more very annoying.

Agree with 3 although a lot of social media sites have acronyms like fb and ig. 3 would work though

So you have never encountered this or you just blatantly stating 4 characters is fine. You probably don't even use the search feature.

I agree with this. It just makes sense. A lot of searches the can possibly be done to save time are 3 characters long.

I agree.
I search for words like Bot and RAT but it blocks me.
I think it should be less search cooldown for upgraded members IMO.
