Alright so, i was wondering if it was possible to change the value or price of a certain object in this text based game so, when i sold it, it would give me more cash then it's supposed to.
Things i tried:
-Google Chrome Debugger
-Cheat Engine
-Tamper Data
Any suggestions?

Things such as Tamper data will only work if the values aren't checked, if the server has any type of input validation it will just detect that the value has been changed & refuse the request.

If its a server-side game (without flash or something) then you can try to change the DOM values. Probably its also being verified by a server, so I don't think anything is going to work (when its a good game...)
