[error] no-ip error in DarkComet .. plz help [error] - SIM-299095 - May 20, 2010
hello guys ..
i've used a lots of RAT's few years a go e.g ( Bifrost, PoisonIvy and ProRat ) .. then i stopped hacking for a while !
now after transferring to win7 & buying a new router .. i'm back .. but unfortunately i'm having problems !!
everything is set and should be ok :-
- i setup my no-ip acc and activated the client
- made the necessary port forwarding ( checked it trough canyouseeme.org and it's working fine )
- finally i created my server ( CyberGate ) and started listening to the ports .
now .. when i tried to run the server on my laptop i got NOTHING 😖 !!
why ?? dunno 😶 !!
so i tried ( Spy-Net ) and the result was the same 😭 !!
finally i tried ( DarkComet ) and i got a no-ip error :

simply that darkcomet can't get your ip , your firewall maby block darkcomet to proceed the IP retriver !

i've allowed the DarkComet client trough the firewall !!
then i turned my firewall off !!

i prefer the rc5 b-couse the keylogger but both fail they don't have ftp logs!

Try to set your TCP/IP 4 properties to automatic ip adress if you have static, sometimes that can be a problem, if you are lan connected your W7 will find other computers no matter what....

why should you use a no-ip?
try dns or just ur real ip because if i ping ur ip/dns address I will get ur real ip too :P

honestly .. i didn't understand the LAN part !! whats up with that ?? and how can i know if i'm LAN connected ??
my ( TCP/IPv4 ) is already set to : obtain an ip address automatically
but the DNS setting are set to a specific DNS server .. so should i make that automatic too ?

as i know ( i'm not sure if i understood right ! ) .. using no-ip is better for keeping you're victims .. it always reconnect you to your victims by following the changes in you're real ip address !

I meant if you have wired computers in your house (2 or 3)....
Write down your dns settings if you need to reverse it and put it on automatic. Then see whats happening, if that doesnt help, i guess your new router has firewall enabled...

all computers here are laptops and we all are connected to the same wireless network ! is that ok ?
about the modem .. i'm pretty sure there is no firewall enabled ..
