Search this forum doesnt work? - BlueStar - Jul 11, 2014
Each time I search for something using the "search this forum" text box below the threads list, it always returns a "Sorry, but no results were returned using the query information you provided. Please redefine your search terms and try again." message.
As a test I tried searching "Skype" in the giveaways forums as I know there are hundreds of threads with that word but still nothing appears.
Have I missed something or is the function broke?

Maybe you are only searching through titles. This happens for me as well regardless though.

I dont mean the main search function, At the bottom of all the threads in a forum section there is a search box. This is the one im on about, the main one works fine.

I believe the search box in the threads is broken for now.

I can confirm that search this forum doesn't give me any results, no matter what I search for even if it's a common word often used in thread titles.

Omniscient knows that the search system is not the best one, he said in due time that he will upgrade it. Just be patient. His to-do list is neverending.

There is nothing he can really do for the search option at this point.
He's tried time and time again and nothing seems to fix it.
We will have to deal with what it is until the new upgrade.
