Skype resolver Bot W. Notes! - taktaktak - Jul 12, 2014

Well guys this is my first tutorial so here goes 👍
Its nothing ultra-complex but I figure ill start off slow and not give it all away at once 😝

It has a built in log system so you can easily export your resolving history

JUST FOUND A LITTLE CODE THAT BREAKS IT! Inside the main logic you will see at the end it will say "skype.resetcache()" remove it and it will work for more than 1 user again!

Not quite sure as to what "lines" you are referring to.

If you would look at the picture you would see that the notes are in the source code. This tutorial is self explanatory because if you read the notes you would see that everything that happens is clearly labeled on why its happening and what its doing. If you know the basics of VB this should be a cake walk m8

From the looks of it you are using a plugin similar to Resharper. For me, with Resharper, those grey imports, with green underline's are not used. ever. Your "updatelistdelegate" is incorrectly named according to the standard naming convention for VB.Net.

I haven't downloaded the source, and from what i've seen, i'm not going to bother. In your screenshot, you have 3 notification by whatever plugin you use warning you about bad coding habits, and you have ignored it. To further the ignorance shown in that image, you create a class wide variable via "Dim", then straight after that (Literally on the next line) you use private. Clearly this is Copy and Pasted, otherwise your code would be more consistent.

P.S: /// Is the XML Documentation marker's used in C#. They aren't required for VB.Net, and if you actually took the time to learn the IDE and language a little bit, you would realize that those comments you have above each Sub, could actually be turned into XML Documentation....

I can assure you this wasn't a copy paste, there are no errors like i said the plugin bugs out and marks things up even though they are fine, i could send you the same screen shot and there would be no lines.

You are using Skype4COM correct?

Well then it's all copy/paste.

Pre-written, pre-coded.

If you somehow make your own library for skype only then will you be able to say it's not copy/paste.

I was trying to get at, I didn't just find the S-C for it and then copy paste it into here. Because if we went by that then everything here is copy/paste
