So my dad caught me smoking weed earlier last week and I just got my phone back and I noticed he called sprint care recently which have me suspicious that he may be reading my texts. So I decided to text my self this morning and as soon as I did I heard his phone ringer go off. Now I'm still not too certain it was from my text considering he did get a new mail a few moments after I texted myself (I checked his email), but then again, I'm not too sure. How can I know for sure if he can read my texts or not through his phone? Using iPhone 5s on sprint

To try text yourself again while being close to his phone.
I don't know if you can auto-forward messages on Sprint.

When he is not aware of it, take his phone, and send a SMS to yourself.

I am but he isn't home yet. Were going on a trip to California soon and he went to get the rental van. I'm gonna try again, but I've texted myself twice already so if I do it a third time and he does indeed receive the texts, then I won't be able to delete it considering he has a pass code on his phone. I'll do it again when he gets home though.

He can read all your iMessages if he is signed in with the same apple account.

Start using Snapchat or something like WhatsApp for texting, he can't read that.
You need internet connection though.

Yeah I'm using snapchat now, but it'd still be better to use my number on my service connection instead since I won't have internet for a week in California.

I don't think you can ask the service provider for text forwarding, there are some "programs" online where you type in some info and idk what, and he can see everything you do, pretty much.
Google it.

If you have imessage on, he is possibly signed into your itunes account. Disable imessage and he will not be able to see your messages.

Yeah, he may be signed into your apple id! make a new one or sign him out of it.

Use this to your advantage, get your friends to text you to do drugs and send them back messages like "No, I quit doing that. I'm trying to focus on my studies then I'm going to clean my room..."
