skidding out of controll. - raviolio - Jul 14, 2014

Hello hackforums.

As this is my first post. I will try not to be annoying.
For the past sevral months I have been going to a tech school, in which I am enrolled in a ccna program. I have definately learned more in a short amount of time that I feel I could learn on my own. Anything from security scans, and password hashing, to general admin roles. I feel even though I have learned these skills, that I am trapped as a skiddie, and just going for the low hanging fruite. My question is. How do I break that mind set? Will it come when I learn code? I feel as if I have writers block.

Hello and Welcome to HackForums.

I'm not an expert but you can learn about Pentesting and Exploits. That's real hacking!

You can find some stuff about this Here.

Good Luck mate.

Easiest way to not become a skid:
Lurk. Read. Post. Learn. Ask for help.
I've learned a lot from the forums.
My PMs are always open. :-)
